Memory

Gust of wind on my face and bare feet

As I walk on these hollow street

Filled with sorrow and emptiness in the air

As I recite in my head the three o’clock prayer

Never shall a noise shatter the quietness in this place

While I roam freely and everyone is asleep in solace

This is the hour I could let out my tears while singing your dead lullaby

….and the only time I wish to die.
